The Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden represents Visaic’s love of flowers. It draws inspiration from Auguries of Innocence by William Blake, in which the reader is encouraged to recognize nature’s fragile beauty and balance.

While the poem deals with other themes of injustice and inequality, these paintings focus solely on the innocence found in nature and the sacred mysteries hiding around every turn.
